Dieting vs getting healthy

There is a vast canyon that separates dieting from getting and staying healthy. 

Dieting insinuates a “get-thin-fast” strategy of some fad program that helps you drop pounds quickly with no long-term strategy of how to keep off the weight you have so suddenly lost. 

Getting and staying healthy means figuring out what you need to do to acheive and maintain your ultimate weight goals and then doing it gradually and in a sustaining way - a way you can do it now and in the future.  This is safer for you in the long run and ultimately easier and less stressful.

How can you make choices to become healthy and well so that it a long-term venture and not just a quick fix?

Health & Wellness

After my epiphany before Christmas I started letting people know that I was adding Health & Wellness to my Coaching practice.  I have been kind of advertising both the Small Business Coaching and the Health & Wellness Coaching for awhile now.  I felt safe doing this.  Now, though I am making the leap.  I am focusing totally on Health & Wellness so although I won’t turn away a Small Business client, I will be pursuing Health & Wellness clients full-time now.  This is a scary leap but it feels good.  I have made some changes to my site already with more on the way so take a look.  Let me know what you think.
